Q Urological™  Aguamedicina™ Persistent™ and Fuselage™ Ureteral Stent* do not distort or buckle when positioned as opposed to commercially available pigtail loop stents. Its compliant stent material absorbs the physiological and peristaltic energies associated with and generally responsible for stent migration and will therefore not exhibit the same physiological reactions as a conventional thermoplastic polyurethane pigtail stent. Due to its novel design and material,  Q Urological™  Aguamedicina™ Persistent™ and Fuselage™ Ureteral Stents  act like a spring or shock absorber and incorporates a differentially larger end that is sufficiently large enough to maintain position in the renal collection junction. The Q Urological™  Aguamedicina™ Persistent™ and Fuselage™ Ureteral Stent can be removed using a grasper causing the stent to stretch. This is integral to the force required to dislodge the stent from the upper urinary collection system.
