Material

Conventional thermoplastic catheters can range from 60 to 100% polymer, with the balance being used for radio-pacifiers and/or coatings. Q Urological™  Aguamedicina™ Persistent™ and Fuselage™ Ureteral Stents are  made up of less than 10% polymer, the majority of the device is water. This water base allows the device to more closely emulate body fluids and soft tissue.

This is not a hydrogel coating, the hydrogel is the catheter.
